Here are photographs that you can buy as prints or framed prints in different sizes and frames. These photographs were taken in October 2007 at the Star Caves in Estado de México, Mexico. They'd make great gifts for those who love nature or geology. They'd also go well in neutral toned rooms.

These are photographs from the area surrounding the Grutas de la Estrella, or Star Caves in Estado de México, Mexico. These photographs are available as high quality prints with optional framing. A wide variety of paper types and frame colors are available to match your home or office decor. The quality of prints and frames is very high.

This view shows the yellows, greens, and browns that are common at this time of year (2nd half of October, 2007) This photograph was taken on the path to the entrance to the Grutas de la Estrella caves in the Estado de México (State of Mexico). The dark blobs in the close branch are small green Bromeliads.

This photo is subtly attractive. First you notice the autumn foliage and then slowly look up and see the blue sky with the sunlight glowing through the clouds on the horizon. This photograph was taken in the second half of October, 2007 in Estado de México (State of Mexico) Mexico from the path to the grutas la Estrella (Star Caves).

This great view of the autumn foliage focuses on the trees not the sky. I especially like the golden yellow tree to the right. It is sad I couldn't get the entire panorama for you in a photo because it really was a beautiful afternoon. This photograph was taken on the path to the Grutas la Estrella (Star Caves) in Estado de México (state of Mexico) in the second half of October, 2007.

This is part of the stairs and walking path down to the entrance to the Grutas de la Estrella (Star Caves) in Estado de México (state of Mexico). The people I went with are walking ahead of me on the path.

This is the river entering the Grutas de la Estrella caves. It eventually goes back above ground many kilometers later. I like this photo because of its simplicity. I find it very relaxing.

This is the tour group going in to the Grutas de la Estrella, or Star Caves. You can't really tell, but this is a narrow half-walled path so no one falls into the stream which also enters at this point. Then there is a metal bar railed bridge to take you beyond that point to the rest of solid rock floor.

These are photographs taken on a trip to Malinalco which is a town that dates back to pre-colonial/conquest times. I hope to go back soon.

It appears that there is a cave. You can't walk across. There is a drop off that isn't very obvious in the photo, but it is in person. After getting close to the drop off I saw that there is a narrow path that leads to the mountainside in the photo but it is blocked with a sign saying that it is prohibited.

Malinalco Archaeological Zone Gallery Part 2
These are photographs taken on a trip to Malinalco which is a town that dates back to pre-colonial/conquest times. I really enjoyed the trip there and Malinalco would be a great place to retire with its beautiful mountains and clean streets.
These photographs can be bought as prints with frames or prints alone. A wide variety of paper and frames is available.

A middle aged woman and an elderly woman who is her mother slowly go up to the first landing. It isn't easy because they are steep and narrow. I had trouble getting down from there (getting up isn't that hard for someone who is young). This view centers on them and their determination.
