Malinalco Archaeological Zone Gallery Part 1

These are photographs taken on a trip to Malinalco which is a town that dates back to pre-colonial/conquest times. I hope to go back soon.

It appears that there is a cave. You can't walk across. There is a drop off that isn't very obvious in the photo, but it is in person. After getting close to the drop off I saw that there is a narrow path that leads to the mountainside in the photo but it is blocked with a sign saying that it is prohibited.

It appears that half of the ruins were built into the cliff. I only wish we were allowed to go all the way up.

This is another of my favorites. This is taken looking back toward the entrance to the Malinalco archaeological zone. It was taken on top of the second building.

This was taken from the path going up the mountain. I was awestruck with Malinalco's majestic landscapes.

This is part of the view taken from the second building in the Malinalco ruins. Sorry about the man sitting on the edge. Note: A man is sitting on the edge of the photo.

Ok, the name of this photo is a little tongue-in-cheek, but I was a little sad that these two men didn't get up so I could take the perfect photo. Even with them sitting there chatting away on top of the second building, It is STILL a great photo.

This was also taken from on top of the second building of the Malinalco archaeological zone.
