This is another fractal flame artwork that I almost didn't create. It didn't look very promising at first, but as I started to post-process it, I saw hope. It will remind some of a bird, and I almost turned it into one, but I finally decided that as an abstract work it would let everyone use their imagination more than if I made it surreal or stylized.

I made this artwork  inspired by Sue's challenge to make visual art from what you see out your window or from your doorstep. This was very challenging indeed because I'm surrounded by low income cinderblock houses not gardens and green lawns, so I had to either show you what little sky is visible or the sidewalk cracks :-) I'm sorry to disappoint sidewalk lovers :-)
